Issue 40 is here!
For the past four issues, we’ve worked with curated writer/artists nawa angel a.h., Mayur Chauhan, Marina Gross-Hoy; and writer Michael Nagle featuring artist Kirk Read. Issue 40 also features the writing of Elizabeth Woody, the first Native American to be named Poet Laureate of Oregon; and the artwork of S.J., whose painting sporadically present is this month’s cover image. This is our current curated team’s last issue with us, so go ahead and love them one more time.
Swim around in Issue 40.
Artists and Writers
We’re looking for features for our upcoming Winter 2025 Special Edition.
KHÔRA’s 500 Words is open to all genres. We’re interested in featuring work that shows how multiple voices can be heard — how frameworks, traditions, and projects can inform each other; and how new perspectives emerge from collaboration and openness. Send us something that excites you.
If you’re a visual artist or interested in sharing your artwork or images, ready about KHÔRA’s Images here. To enter KHÔRA’s collaborative waters:
