Behind the main corridors of KHÔRA, a new wing is opening. KHÔRA’S INTERIOR ROOMS will begin to unfold in the coming days—a private, atmospheric layer reserved for paid subscribers. These are offerings of texture, stillness, and more than a little strangeness.
In addition to the rooms we mentioned in our last post, inside, you’ll find:
✨ Voice Notes — soft, occasional audio entries: small reflections, behind-the-scenes musings, and meditations
✨ Contributor Mini Interviews — intimate glimpses into the creative lives of our writers: what they’re reading, how they work, where they go when they need to begin again
✨ Ask Us Anything — a recurring thread where you can ask about submissions, process, themes we’re circling, or what’s currently pinned to our moodboard
These aren’t articles or essays. They’re pieces that refuse algorithms, built for lingering. We’re inviting you to come closer.
Think of them as rooms lit by moodlight.
Why subscribe now?
The main house — KHÔRA, our monthly magazine — remains free and open to all. But if you’ve ever felt the pull to go deeper, now is a beautiful time to step through.
A note about upgrading your subscription to support INTERIOR ROOMS:
KHÔRA has been free to all subscribers for 4 ½ years and will continue to offer free access to our magazine issues. The only thing that’s growing is that there will be an inner layer, crafted for those who choose to support us through a paid subscription. Nothing you’ve loved is going away; this new content is a quiet thank you for those helping to sustain our work behind the scenes.
You’ll still receive our full monthly issues, but paid readers will also see a few extra side doors, the soft echoes, and strange little companion pieces.
This isn’t a paywall—it’s a way to help keep the lights on while keeping the art generous.
If now isn’t the right time to upgrade to a paid membership, please know that your presence matters deeply and more than ever, and that we’re beyond grateful you’re here.
These private paths will be gradually appearing behind the curtain. They’re not offered as rewards, they’re invitations to look more closely, stay a little longer, to feel a little less alone.
If you’re been waiting for the right moment, this is your knock.
See you inside,
